PEDIATRIC DENTIST AND ORTHODONTIST NEAR LANTANA

Dr. Neil Dean

As a trusted pediatric dentist near Lantana, Dr. Dean possesses more than 20 years of experience in the field, helping young patients embrace the opportunity for healthier, stronger, more beautiful smiles. Deciding to become a dentist because of his love for helping others, he grew interested in pediatric dentistry after working as a summer camp counselor at Boggy Creek Gang Camp in Orlando, FL, while in college. Helping special needs children at the time, he decided that working with young patients in a dental office sounded like an ideal atmosphere.

Dr. Dean earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City before pursuing a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Since 2004, he has served on the dental staff at the Children’s Medical Center of Plano, and he is actively involved with various professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, and the American Association of Orthodontics.

When he’s not busy taking care of young teeth and gums, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, who is also a dentist, their two daughters, and their dog, Evie. He’s also known to enjoy golf, tennis, and playing the guitar.

Dr. Kim Rogers

Alongside Dr. Dean is our expert orthodontist near Lantana, Dr. Rogers. A native of Texas, she looks forward to helping young patients near her hometown who desire straighter, healthier smiles. After completing her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, she attended Texas A&M University – Baylor College of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduating as a part of the Dean’s Honor List.

Choosing to specialize in orthodontics, she received three additional years of training at Texas A&M University – Baylor College of Dentistry while also completing a master’s degree in oral biology and receiving a certificate in orthodontics.

Dr. Rogers’ accomplishments go beyond her educational endeavors, though, as she is considered a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists – a distinction that causes her to stand out among her peers. Only one in three orthodontists achieve this!

Outside of the office, Dr. Rogers and her husband, Shane, enjoy spending time with their son, Gavin, as well as trying new restaurants, traveling, playing volleyball, being a part of their local church, and spending time with friends.
