In order to become a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Dean had to do a lot after graduating from dental school. He had to complete a multi-year residency to obtain his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry, and then he needed to take several hours of continuing education and pass a rigorous test administered by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This not only gives him the knowledge to provide high-quality childhood dentistry, but it also demonstrates his dedication to taking care of younger patients.
